Having been nominated for multiple GMA Dove Awards, "New Artist of the Year" for their self-titled album and already
having two albums under their belt, 33Miles is making an impact in the Christian music industry. They have released
"We decided to name our album Today to bring even more focus to our mission, which is to encourage others to make
the most of their ‘miles' and live for Christ," explains lead singer Jason Barton.

Today can be described as, upbeat, uplifting and encouraging. Jason's soft, welcoming vocals make this album hard to
stop listening to. Though this style of music isn't my favorite, I can't deny the message. I love the assurance of the
existence of God Almighty and the promise that He will never leave nor forsake me in my weakness or even in the good
times. This is exactly what "The Arms That Hold The Universe" is about. "God of strength will never let you go He will
overcome I know, the arms that hold the universe are holding you tonight. You can rest. So, be still and know that He's in
control. He will never let you go. You can hope. You can rise. You can stand. He still has the whole world in His arms."

"Underneath" has a really strong message as well. It's about all the covering up we do to try to hide our pain and sin. So
often, we try to paint these pretty pictures of someone we really aren't. We have to let go and let God. To grow we need to
be honest with ourselves and admit that we aren't perfect. God isn't impressed with fake, plastic, sugarcoated Christians.
Who are you trying to fool?! "We try so hard, we go so far to cover up who we are...don't you know that healing comes when
you let go? The good, the bad, the in-between, God loves what's underneath."

Closing Thoughts
When I review an album, I love to feel the annointing of God. I also believe that the last 33miles album I reviewed, I stated
that these guys are the real deal and geniune. If you want to know how real or fake these bands are, go straight to the
lyrics. Is there a message? I may not like the style of music, but 33miles has my approval all day, everyday. Another
success!  All 33miles fans, the band will also unveil a Christmas project to release nationally in later this year.
