[ Writer's Closing Thoughts ]
I consider myself a collector.  So yes, I would pick up the
Expanded Edition even though it offers only two new
songs, but hey, if you're on a budget, $13 is a lot to
spend on new packaging and two new tracks!
I guess my opinion of DecembeRadio is always going to be biased.  Not only are they a
great band, but they are also good friends of our ministry.  So having said that, I am going
to write an honest opinion regarding the re-release of their Dove-award winning and
Grammy-nominated debut album, this time around in an special Expanded edition.

One question I seem to see a lot with an Expanded edition of an older release is, "Is it
worth going out and buying?".  I would have to say the die-hard DecembeRadio fan who
just wants to collect everything that band has released, then yes, the album is worth
picking up.  But for those of us music fans who are almost certainly on a budget, then it
might not be the best investment.

The
Expanded Edition of DecembeRadio's debut features two new songs, as well as
Enhanced content which includes an interview with the band and an acoustic-version video
for the band's biggest single to date, "Drifter".  With the additions of the new smash hit,
"Find You Waiting" and the acoustic version of "Love Found Me (Love's Gotta Hold)", the
CD only adds two extra music tracks.  So if you already have the original release, then
speaking from a budget point-of-view, is it not worth shelling out another $13, huh?  Well,
this is your call.  I consider myself in that category of 'die-hard' D-Radio fans, so yes I
would.  You?  It's up in the air.

Look for DecembeRadio's sophomore album,
Satisfied in stores on August 26, 2008!

11. Find You Waiting [Listen]
12. Love Found Me
(Love's Gotta Hold) [Acoustic Version]
