I really felt that this album was inspired by Jesus. The first song “Undo” really spoke to my
heart. The lyrics in the chorus, “Turn me around, pick me up, undo what I’ve become, bring
me back to the place of forgiveness and grace. I need you, need your help I can’t do this
myself. You’re the only one who can undo what I’ve become,” inspired me to really feel
what they were saying. It’s a “Raise my hands and worship” kind of song to me.
The message can be clearly heard in all the songs. They are not afraid to say His name.
And the music is just as good. Simple bass, nice drum beats. And in track 3, ‘When Our
Hearts Sing,’ I really enjoyed the lead guitar mini solos. It keeps the flow of the song going
smooth. I’d have to say my favorite tracks would be 1, ‘Undo’ and 4, ‘Your Love.’ ‘Your
Love’ is kind of slow but still is powerful with it’s lyrics. And the guitar synthesizer behind
the vocals really brings out the feelings that I think were put into the lyrics.
Rush Of Fools started in Birmingham, AL a little over a year ago but has only been signed
for about six months and has already won an award and has had a #1 on multiple radio
charts. “Honestly it’s amazing to us because there is nothing special about us,” Huguley
says modestly. “There’s nothing great that we’ve done. We’re not accomplished or well
known. We’re just guys from Alabama who love music and love God. We want to exalt God’
s glory and demote ourselves.”
The message is there. The music is there. Production is perfect. Originality/creativity is all
