Sara Groves is here with her Christmas album O Holy Night. This album has 12 tracks featuring songs both old and new.
I don't like to say this but I'm not exactly a huge fan of Christmas music. But, this album had a bit of a different twist to it.
It was not your typical sounding Christmas album. Sara was able to be herself and do it in her style. I fully expected to
hear the same old same old music but, that's not what I heard. Your common songs that you have heard since you were
little were so different it was like it was something new you were hearing for the first time. Her new songs were not your
typical Christmas songs. I don't think they are anything that will be remembered at Christmas time. They just weren't
catchy.
Sara is a great artist that has been around for quite a while and has released many albums. If you ever get a chance to listen
to any of them you will find that she has an amazing talent with lyrics. Some of her lyrics are so powerful that they really
get to you and make you think.
Sara is a talent that may not be as mainstream as other artists but certainly someone who shouldn't be overlooked. I wish
her the best in everything she does. Continue to do your thing and God will continue to do His thing in your life and others
through your music. God Bless.
